Lifestyle watch brand Nixon have dropped many classics in the past and this brand new The Riot model looks to be another instant classic. Turning 180 degrees from the large faced watches as this model is square shaped and much smaller than their usual men’s models. Rounded edges give it a casual aesthetic and the all black or gold exterior color provides a military or luxury feel. The actual case comes in at 10mm thick allowing for the watch to have more presence on the wrist. Check your local Nixon authorized dealers or Beams online store to make a purchase.

While expression of art on everyday consumables is nothing new, there is a new directive more recently with a focus on beer bottles. Aside from the recently unveiled collaborative project between KAWS and Dos Equis, Heineken International (coincidentally the parent company of Dos Equis) debuted the Black Light STR Bottle today. Inspired by the dimly lighted night club atmosphere, the Black Light STR Bottle illuminate on cue under a blacklight to reveal a hidden graphic of stars and streaks. Made of aluminum, the bottle still retains beer under the optimal temperature without flaw.
The Heineken Black Light STR Bottle just launch bi-coastally at the “Heineken Inspire” event in Los Angeles and the “US Open Player Party” in New York City. The bottle will also be available at select entertainment establishments nationwide in the coming weeks.

Ne-Yo was spotted in New York City doing luxury casual just right. With a fitted plaid shirt, a newsboy cap and cuffed jeans to show off his new Louis Vuitton Winter 2010 Meteor Sneaker, he stays effortlessly cool and relatively incognito with the glasses. The sneakers in question here are the mid-top Meteor from Louis Vuitton this season in Blanc. It is made from calf leather with embossed Damier pattern, features the LV crest on tongue and has a two-tone stripe accent running across the sneakers. The sneakers comes with removable anatomic insock, and are currently available at select Louis Vuitton stores.

English artist, James Jarvis, has partnered up with artist, Russell Waterman (one half of the brains behind Wonder Women of America published in 2008) to create an interesting online comic blog, The Wisdom of Caleb, for toy store, Amos. James Jarvis had just been enlisted by Nike not too long ago as a part of its Six Collaborations project. Like many other comic strips, The Wisdom of Caleb attempts to philosophize life through the lens of an innocent heart, in this case, protagonist Caleb. The intriguing thing however, is that The Wisdom of Caleb is very mediocre, and quite unapologetically so, perhaps conveying a point. It is not particularly funny, and sometimes, it is not particularly smart. It is like a collection of observation vignettes that just has the reader beckoning for more. Check it out!

After we had recently announced the delivery of the Assault, Supra is back to drop another low-top companion, the slip-on, chukkah, inspired Belay. The Belay has been reworked in the same material we see on the Assault such as waxed heather grey fleece, wine-colored Cabernet Patent, Navy Seersucker and Black/Grey Fullgrain/Suede. These should be hitting stores really soon as well, and they will be perfect for those who enjoy a little menswear sensibility in their sneakers.

Certainly its becoming a seasonal event, we’re talking about the line-up in front of Supreme for its Fall/Winter 2010 Collection launch, which took place just a few hours ago at the apparel label’s Lafayette Street flagship here in New York City. Even though most items will be available at its online store next week, around 100 fans of Supreme just couldn’t wait that long. Some stayed in their cars over night while most arrived around 8 am this morning to get ahead of the queue. Like any busy stretch of New York City, plenty of happenings surrounded the line-up. One block over, GAP took over Crosby Street for its Holiday 2010 photo shoot. Around the corner, Nylon magazine is creating a miniature mural for its Nylon x Smart ad campaign. The festivities were such that a street vendor stopped next to oncoming traffic and set up shop. The Fall/Winter 2010 Collection for Supreme is now available at its North American flagships in New York and Los Angeles, follow by launches in its retail locations in Japan this Saturday and online store next Thursday.

Spotted a few months ago at Nike Sportswear’s Fall/Holiday 2010 preview are these Nike Air Force 1 Low in grey and black leather uppers, with just the right tad of hiking boot details infused into them. The hiking and outdoor influences are apparent in the golden lace eyelets and rope laces, and of course, the premium leather upper. But, the great thing about these new Air Force 1 Low is its subtlety. Unlike numerous conspicuous hiking and outdoor boot adaptations of sneakers, these retain the classic Air Force 1 sensibility. Not to mention, black and grey are classic and versatile colorways that can go the distance. These are currently available for pre-order via Crooked Tongues.

Junya Watanabe is a talented designer who can turn the ordinary into extraordinary, and that is what he does best for COMME des GARÇONS’ men’s collection. The latest from the Fall/Winter 2010 collection is this Stadium Jacket, which was created in conjunction with American leather specialist, Vanson. Constructed like a riders jacket with its tough exterior, the silhouette is kept slim and fitting giving it a distinct and contemporary look. Black and white monotone premium leathers are basic yet timeless, and original camouflage patterned lining is a trademark of Watanabe that his fans love. via: by Intention

Described as the world’s first Street Art disaster movie, Banksy’s “Exit Through The Gift Shop” is about a failed relationship between Banksy and Thierry Guetta. The movie, which debuted in the US a few months ago, kicked off with Guetta first befriending and approaching Banksy in hope of capturing the artist on film, but as time went on, Banksy realized that Guetta isn’t really a filmmaker and Guetta had turned his back on Banksy. Banksy then turned the cameras back on its owner and told the story about how the greatest street art film was never made. Aside from appearances by Banksy, which the artist had commented will be the most the public will ever see of him, Shepard Fairey and Space Invader also appear in the film. The film is now on DVD and is available for pre-order. It will be released on September 6.

CONVERSE Japan has updated their classic kicks with fall appropriate accents for its September release. The new delivery features eternal staples such as the Chuck Taylor All Star in both low-top and hi-top, Skidgrip and the One star. Materials and styling have been updated to classic plaid and one of the All Star hi-tops even received a duffle coat make over complete with toggle enclosures over the lacing system. Another interesting silhouette is the Shoot hi top lined generously with fur, and highlights a neutral palette with pops of yellow and pink. The collection should be in select retailers this month.

California’s Crooks & Castles is moving off shore over to Hawaii, and to accompany its grand opening this Friday, it had created a collection of Crooks & Castles Hawaii exclusive products. The collection comes in the form of graphic t-shirts honoring both Hawaii and of course, C&C. There are eight styles total, and each feature classic C&C logos and also a text graphic tee which is slightly reminiscent of Christopher Wool’s work. Check it out, and if you are in town, the opening will be happening tomorrow with an afterparty at the Ginza.
