Canons-Amazing-4K-Came...

Unlike other cameras, Canon's 4K concept reportedly "shoots 4K video at 60 frames a second using a single 2/3-inch CMOS sensor." No word yet on if this model will go into production. Video after the break. Click here for more pictures.
...it's intended to offer "multipurpose image capture," which seems to imply something like the continuous photography promised by Canon's other futuristic prototype.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Lost Labyrinth Trailer Released

Sonic-the-Hedgehog-4-L...

SEGA has just released a trailer showing Sonic the Hedgehog 4's all-new Lost Labyrinth level, in which "most of the action takes place in a series of twisting mazes without fear of drowning." Video after the break. Click here for more screenshots.
And the one water-heavy level in Act Two has plenty of air bubbles. Drowning won't be much of a threat, so all those old frustrations didn't occur for me even in my first playthrough.

Just hours after the oil rig explosion near the Gulf of Mexico, technology and other online news sources have been buzzing about the incident. The company that owns the platform, Houston-based Mariner Energy, did not know what caused the blast, which was reported by a helicopter flying over the area. Seven Coast Guard helicopters, two airplanes and three cutters were dispatched to the scene.

Inventor Blake Bevin launched a program to make the Back to the Future power laces a reality, and so far, he's already on the second prototype. It features a "a pressure sensor starts the lacing process as soon as you put your foot in." Video after the break.
This time the blue and pink are gone, as are the Nike logos (perhaps to avoid trademark and patent ramifications), replaced with a cleaner though taller silver and white design.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Officially Unveiled

Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-Off...

Just unveiled at IFA 2010, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is confirmed to feature a 7-inch touchscreen, 1.0-GHz Cortex A9 CPU, 16GB / 32GB of internal memory, 3.0-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel secondary camera, microSD expansion, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 3G data connectivity, and full HD video playback. Video after the break. Click here for more pictures.
There's hardly a surprise to be had when it comes to the hardware. It's good looking (though a tad on the "safe" side), solidly built (none of the seeming fragility of the Galaxy S here), lightweight (but not Kindle light), and glossy to the max (your iPad would be proud).

File this under: funny Amazon products. At $11182.68, this 21' Preferred (All Aluminum) Bleachers (10 Rows) isn't just some gag, it's an actual product that can be delivered in 3-5 weeks, or so says the merchant. One caveat, when user M. Mcnully received it "there was some girl's phone number underneath and half of the fifth bleacher was made of wood." Product page. Here's what user Yu has to say:
I was hesitant buying this because of its size. However, after having used it for 6 months, I must admit that it is far better than any other bleacher I have tried before.
