Finally, it's 311 Day, or at least according to the band. This year, they are kicking off the celebration in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, and "the five-hour set allows 311 to perform a variety of material, including covers, rarities and their hits."
While it may be all about the music at 311 Day, that doesn't mean there won't be some nice perks offered alongside that end-all, be-all set list. Many Mandalay Bay restaurants, nightlife spots and attractions are offering deals in the spirit of 311 Day.

Carnegie Mellon University student Chloe Fan created "a simple version of Super Mario Bros using an 8x8 LED matrix (one color), an Arduino Nano, two buttons for the input (forward and jump), and a piezo sensor hooked to a separate Arduino for the theme song." Video after the break.

Conan O'Brien has just confirmed that he will be going on a nationwide 30 city comedy tour, presented by American Express. The tour will run from April 12th (Eugene, OR) till June 14th (Atlanta, GA), according to Team CoCo.
