Well these really are remarkable – a collection of frankly messed up 1970′s illustrations, for CHILDREN’s books, done by artist Gōjin Ishihara (via Pink Tentacle).

This is such a feel good blog post from Lost at E Minor ))))))
This anonymous crew from Chicago have collaborated with artists from all over the world to produce feel-good, inspiring street art with one message: YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. You can find their lyrical work on top of buildings, on trains, against a park fences, written in a multitude of different ways…

Yummmmmmy this is a range of corsets inspired by cupcakes and candy – and best of all designer Maya Hansen has called the range “Cake corsets” – think I will even take one of these over the skeleton shoes. At least that’s my outfit sorted for The Mad Artists Tea Party anyway!

I am first to admit that my blog is random but the tumblr site Radioactive Lingerie makes mine look rather dull indeed – to be honest I have not totally figured what’s the site’s mission statement yet but I know I like it (via UO blog).

Alice Cooper’s live shows are legendary for their sense of rock theatre and sheer visual spectacle – and I am SO looking forward to seeing it on Friday at Sonisphere…
Along with the Alice Cooper vibe Friday has a dress theme of Rocky Horror (going for World record of time warpers or something on Friday) so I have titted about and pulled off a Magenta costume (of sorts) tonight by cutting up an old nurse uniform my big brother gave me from his work (don’t ask, no really don’t). Now have to make sure the apron straps are in the right place (doh), add blood to the costume I have made for my friend and we are good to ROCK (and yes yes I know it’s not a ‘costume perfect Magenta’ fellow cosplayers but I did make it all myself)!

This top image is the finest excample of face painting I have ever seen – it’s hilarious and by Pete Fowler, who had many ‘victims’ at Port Elliot festival. I have been informed the ‘beard’ session was accompanied by a “you’re a man not a boy now son” lecture!

The Grey Group have made a series of tattoo enhanced LEGO minifigs – they’re advertisements for Pilot pens and a fucking inspired idea (via the very neat Neatorama).
